Lamb of God

Thank you for your blood so holy and so pure
For your eyes that never closed
While looking upon my sin

Your holy sacrifice
Poured out at such a price
To wash away every sin of mine

Worthy are you Lamb of God
Slain for all mankind to see

Your power wealth and majesty
Wisdom strength and victory

All honour praise and glory be
Unto the Lamb of God slain for me

Clouds

Clouds by day
Clouds by night
Slowly moving across the blue
Then swiftly passing the moon in flight
I’ve seen your faces
So many a disguise
I’ve watched you open heavens windows
Felt your tumultuous downpours
And your mighty floods
With gentle touch upon my face
And grace filled drops that sprinkled down
I’ve drunk refreshing waters
Under rays of open skies
You’ve released your life on sun drenched lands
Reminding me from where it all began
Moving
Changing
Revealing
Declaring
That the God who created the clouds in the sky
Though He never changes
Constantly changes me

Bright eyes

The threading of God’s voice
Weaving His tapestry of perfection
Reviving my soul
Breathing out living testimony
Of the surest foundation
Brightening my eyes
Opening my heart for joy to flood in
As the purity of God’s word
Comes alive in me

The brightest fire of all

You’re the fire in my heart that burns so bright
The brightest fire of all

Unquenchable
Unceasing

All consuming fire of God
Ever increasing fire of kingdom come

Unrelenting
Unfailing

Everlasting fire of love that burns so bright
The brightest fire of all

You’re the fire of the call of Moses
In the burning bush

You’re the fire in the pillar
That led the Israelites by night

You’re the fire on the altar
That burnt away all the dross and sin

You’re the fire in the word
That breaks the hardest rock

You’re the fire in the offering
Before the gods of Baal

You’re the fire in the burning chariot
That carried Elijah to heaven’s open gates

You’re the fire that stood with three men
In the flaming furnace that Nebuchadnezzar saw

You’re the fire in two disciple’s hearts
That burned as Jesus spoke on that Damascus road

You’re the fire of tongues
That rested upon the disciple’s heads
On the day of Pentecost

You’re the refiner’s fire that tests our faith
Burning up every dead work on judgement day

You’re the fire that will burn up the heavens and the earth
As we now know them today

You’re the fire in the Book of Life
That helps me escape the fiery lake

You’re the fire in the seven lamps
That blaze before the throne

You’re the fire of eyes like flaming torches
That Daniel saw on the river bank that day

You’re the fire that burns in me
Till all the gold shines through

You’re the fire in my heart that burns so bright
The brightest fire of all

Unquenchable
Unceasing

All consuming fire of God
Ever increasing fire of kingdom come

Unrelenting
Unfailing

Everlasting fire of love that burns so bright
The brightest fire of all

Chandra

There’s a steel behind those gentle eyes
Stretching out far and wide
Across the sands
Across the plains
Far upon the mountain rise
Filled with all the ocean’s power
Shining moons of glorious wonder
Stars that tell stories glittering beyond
With magic and awe
There is a display
Deeper than all earth’s treasures
Seen through eyes painted with love
Where steel and gentleness meet
Just one gaze lifts me up
To see the steel behind those gentle eyes

Papa

I want to hold onto You
With tight loving arms
The way you do
To never let go
Just as You promised me
To hold on for dear life
Not for fear’s sake
But holy fear
Out of reverent awe
For love’s sake
Give me
An undivided heart
To know You
As I’m fully known
To search and find
To ask and receive
To knock and have heaven open up
Into my whole world
Where I have You always
Where always You have me
