Perfection is coming

Closer than you think

He’s just around the corner

You’ll see Him in just a blink

He’ll be standing in full glory

Enthroned with splendour and awe

We’ll see Him face to face

As He welcomes us through the door

All the wonders of love made known

His promises drawing us toward

What is yet to come

Then to taste and see His perfection

Finally revealed

To see and know

As we’re fully known

Then bow our heads in worship

Before His Majestic throne

You are the ultimate beauty

All that is beautiful in this world

Is there to point me in Your direction

As a fore-taste of what is yet to come

All other beauties are short lived

They all fade in the end

But like a beautiful sunset

They remind me of what is on the horizon

The most beautiful One of all

Unfading

Radiant

Majestic

Full glory

Jesus

Above all sin

The grace of God

Is enthroned

Higher than any evil

Can ever reach

I boldly come

Before this throne

To find a King

Whose grace and mercy

Hold me fast

Until I breathe

My very last

May my heart always be

Headed in Your direction

Continually leaning

Toward You

Unmoved

Upheld

Sustained 

Firmly planted

In the soil of faith

Believing and trusting in You

Knowing You are good

And all things work together

For my good

Your peace 

Goes deep down 

On the inside

Holds me together

When everything 

Is falling apart

On the outside

It goes beyond

Everything I understand

And every circumstance 

That comes my way

Settles over my mind

Soothes my soul

Like a gentle stream

In a mighty storm

I find you

In the eyes

That gaze upon my heart

That know me

In this hidden place

I find You

In the breath I take

And by this grace

I know I live

To walk

Another day

With You

Scattered dreams

Where did they fly

On the open road

Lifted high

Time goes by

And still there’s time

To see those dreams

Come alive

Beyond the limit of mountains high

Limitless stands in awe

Knowing that

Beyond these dream shod eyes

There’s always more

To gaze

To see and know

Within the mystery

Through the flaws

Grace stands elated

As a wide open door

Dark inside the cocoon

Trapped and bound

Inner chaos resists the constriction

Pushing continuously up against it’s walls

Till the cracks appear

And out of darkness 

Light appears

Metamorphosis has done its work

Its irreversible

There’s no turning back

The old womb has gone

The new creature is born

Out of this paradoxical dance

From death to life

Chaos to order

Glorious wings now spread out

Ascending higher 

Into the full glory of the light of the sun

While resting in the shade of the moon and stars
